Hi, I’m Lauren. 👋
I’m a social media and content marketing strategist with a background in beauty, publishing, journalism, and brand storytelling. I’m most energized by the point where creativity and strategy meet: developing ideas that feel culturally relevant and distinctly human, then turning them into content that delivers meaningful results.
My career actually began on the creator side of the industry. I built a beauty-focused community on Instagram and YouTube and partnered with and created content for brands including Glossier, Caudalie, Merit Beauty, Amika, and more. That experience taught me how people really connect with brands, not through perfectly polished corporate messaging, but through strong ideas, an identifiable voice, and content that understands its audience.
After earning my B.A. from Florida International University, I moved to New York City to pursue a master’s degree in Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism at The New School. Since then, I’ve worked across beauty, wellness, insurance, home services, and technology, leading social media strategy, content development, copywriting, email marketing, creative production, and integrated campaigns for both consumer and B2B audiences.
My work has ranged from helping increase e-commerce revenue by more than 560% for a dermatologist-founded skincare platform to managing social strategy for Booksy’s U.S. market. Along the way, I’ve developed brand voices, built content systems, managed cross-functional projects, created campaigns across organic and paid channels, and translated complex products into messaging people can actually understand and care about.
I’m equal parts writer, strategist, creative thinker, and extremely online person. I care about the details, whether that means finding the exact right sentence, identifying the cultural insight behind an idea, or making sure a campaign connects back to a larger business goal.
Above all, I believe the best marketing doesn’t feel like marketing. It feels useful, entertaining, timely, or true, and ideally, a little bit memorable.
